Project Driver combines the science of how your brain works with “practical” project management techniques so that we GET THINGS DONE!

Anthony’s work in utilising innovative approaches to strategic challenges is outstanding. So much so that I used two of his case studies during a recent keynote I had to deliver at Stanford University CME Live in front of 600 leading medical professionals.  Time is our most valuable resource, and whilst we cannot manage time, we can manage ourselves, and to do so we need to make the most informed decisions possible. This is Anthony’s superpower.

The philosophy of Project Driver is to support teams and to kick start new ways of working.

Specialist consultancy to train and develop teams “on the job”.

 

Teams do the work so that they can manage transformational change immediately and on an ongoing basis after they no longer require the hands on support.

 

This requires specialist facilitation as it combines practical project management methodology, team building expertise and the introduction of new (inexpensive) software tools.

(Even with this knowledge, teams need an experienced consultant and helping hand to manage the change – working in certain ways over many years cannot be transformed easily without this support.)

The three elements to always keep active are:

Always have an open mind.

A mind is like a parachute – it only works when it is open.

With every team – find out what they do and how they behave when things go wrong.

We need to move away from blame, criticism, restructuring and hiding it towards openness, learning and development.

With every action – think- what’s the impact going to be on relationships?

This is often never considered, but the unintended consequences can be, and often are, huge.

 

 

So a distinct move away from traditional PMO support where support will often be recruited for e.g. full time for 6 months.

Although support can be available over long periods e.g. a year (on a retainer basis), the Project Driver model is based on flexible hours and days of work rather than months. This means that it’s a very cost effective support mechanism that drives very high returns on investment.
